Vitaly Ataev Troshin is a journalist and activist hailing from the Moscow region, born during the final years of the Soviet Union. With a deep connection to both Russia and Ukraine, he began writing critically about local authorities at a young age, achieving publication in Moscow newspapers by the time he was 14. Currently, he is a fellow at Slavic Sacramento, where he covers a wide range of topics, including immigrant stories, climate change, and social issues.
