I’m a reporter from Caldwell, Idaho, now living and working in Central California. I chose journalism because I believe local news is essential to fostering a healthy community, and I find fulfillment in elevating and empowering local voices. My work primarily focuses on education, policy, and government accountability, but I also enjoy merging different beats to create more comprehensive coverage.

I’ve reported for the Idaho Press, Idaho Education News, and the Jackson Ledger Dispatch. Outside of the newsroom, I enjoy gardening, biking, and writing poetry.
