I am a multimedia journalist based in the Bay Area. As a bilingual Spanish-English speaker with experience living in several countries, my understanding of diverse languages and cultures informs my reporting, grounding it in empathy and care. Journalism is important to me because it connects communities, offering them access to information and perspectives they might not encounter otherwise.

Prior to becoming a fellow, I studied and reported in Southern California, focusing on labor, immigration, and culture. My work has been published in the L.A. Times and the SLO Tribune.
