I’m a multimedia journalist from Vallejo, California. I became a journalist because I love everything that it involves: listening to people’s stories, digging into data, breaking down complex topics, and shedding light on issues and policies that affect the people around me. I’m interested in covering the rich diversity of California, as well stories about climate change, health care, social services, and social justice. Prior to local reporting, I was an entertainment writer, where I covered TV/films about Asian Americans and other underrepresented communities.
