My passion for journalism is deeply rooted in my experience growing up in a low-income environment in Salinas, CA. Having faced injustices and felt overlooked by local media and politicians, I am committed to addressing issues that affect people from all backgrounds, particularly underrepresented communities. My mission is to provide accurate, unbiased news to counter disinformation and to serve as a trustworthy reporter who asks crucial questions and holds those in power accountable, while also listening to community members about their reporting needs.

My reporting areas include veterans, social justice, women’s empowerment, pesticides, politics, and investigative journalism. I have three years of experience in broadcast news as a production assistant and have worked as a freelancer for Oaklandside, Oakland North, and Voices of Monterey Bay.
