A collaboration between the California Local News Fellowship and Distributed Media Lab will broaden distribution for stories reported by fellows who are currently reporting in more than 75 local news organizations throughout California.

We are launching curated news collections, which will allow participating publishers to easily feature timely, high-interest stories on your website. These collections will make it easier for newsrooms across our network to share and feature each other’s work, creating new opportunities to amplify meaningful reporting.

Our curated collections will include:

  • California Local – a mix of standout statewide reporting
  • Eco California – stories focused on the environment
  • The Stakes – coverage examining how federal executive actions affect Californians
